			<abstract>There are huge ways of learning through the internet, from text-based tutorials to podcasts, vidcasts, etc. MOOC (Massive Open Online Course) is a recent phenomenon in online learning. It has been very popular since 2012 as MOOC offers a complete course based on academic pedagogy. It is free and is available to people around the world. Enrolling in MOOC does not need any prerequisite. Many papers have discussed the role of libraries and librarians in MOOC. They suggest that there are many opportunities in MOOC for libraries and librarians to extend their role beyond providing information resources and becoming educators. The literature suggests that copyright clearance and teaching information literacy are potential roles for librarians. Library and information professionals are encourages to enroll in MOOC courses to extend their knowledge and skills and also to learn how it works and to get teaching ideas for their information literacy instruction. In this paper the history of MOOC and how it works, its structure; challenges and opportunities it offers and the roles of librarians and libraries in MOOC have been discussed.</abstract>

			<abstract>Purpose: Accordingly, the present study aims at assessing the e-readiness and attitudes of university faculty members and invitees from Payam-Noor universities of Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari Province (Shahrekord and Farsan) towards teaching methods of Blended E-learning. Methodology: All the faculties of universities were studied through a census in 2012. In addition, two questionnaires were used to collect data. Data were analyzed in the software SPSSv.19 in order to compute descriptive and inferential statistics.  Findings: The study revealed two university academic excellence in both manpower and use of information technologies are afforded the privilege 0.19 and 0.15. The Findings of computer and technical skills very satisfying in a way, in this study, with an average value of this variable is 3/50. Conclusion:in the attitude towards the establishment of the approach, its opposition to 60% to 21% as compared to the system were agreed. Statistical analysis, no significant differences in age, gender and teaching experience showed how attitudes toward e-learning methods combined.</abstract>

			<abstract>Purpose: “open study” is an approach which could help a lot of people, students in particular, to obtain deeper understanding of concepts and events. This research tries to analyze the effects of open study on the educational success of psychology students at Ferdowsi University, so as to find this community’s ideas on open study and the impact of such study on their educational success. Method: this is an “applied research” conducted in the form of survey, based on Cochrane Formula with 128 undergraduate psychology students as its sample. Survey’s data were collected through a researcher-made questionnaire, in which the questions were extracted based on content analysis of psychology literature. The validity and reliability of the measuring tool were respectively confirmed by a number of teachers as well as experts, and Cronbach’s Alpha of 0.83 for the whole questionnaire. Findings: open study is influential in students’ success in Farsi theoretical lessons, but it has no impact on the outcome of courses like foreign languages. All the students, whether having open study or not, unanimously believe that it has a positive influence on the students’ educational success. There’s no meaningful relation between open study and students’ educational success. Conclusion: the findings of this research show that most of students commonly believe that open study has positive effect on their educational success, and generally, this kind of studying could enhance their scientific growth and prove useful in their educational success.  </abstract>

			<abstract>Purpose: The present study purpose is surveying the Recall and Precision and overlap in the databases such as Noormags, Magiran and Sid on the field ofknowledge and information science Approach (Method): The research has been done as applied and survey approach. In order to surveying the amount of recall and precision and overlap in databases, the number 15 keywords was selected by consultation with   professors. The keywords were searched in all three databases simultaneously.  The first 10 results were retrieved at each database, their recall, precision and overlap calculated by the formula. Finding: The result of research showed that Noormas with the %48 recall has the most amount of recall. Then, Sid and Magiran have respectively the %33 and %32 recall and have ranked the second and third. In terms of precision, Noormags with the %79 has the most amount of precision. Also, the result showed that Noormags with the %10 overlap in title and %72 overlap in information resources has the most amount of overlap with other databases. Conclusion:The Noormags has a better performance in terms of recall and precision than other databases. This data bases have high overlap with other databases in terms of information resources. So, Noormags is the most appropriate database for all users in the field of knowledge and information science.  </abstract>

			<abstract>Purpose: Any profession or occupation specific social position in society, and to assess its position, continued and survival profession or occupation guarantees. Sothe main purpose of this research was to construct and validate a questionnaire for measuring social status of Knowledge and Information Science profession.                                                                                                                                                                               Methodology: This is an applied survey research. The face validity and construct validity were used to validate questionnaire. Reliability was reviewed by internal consistency coefficient.  The population of the study consists total number of the Librarians working in Ahwaz libraries (academic, special, and public) was 250 by census.   Necessity &amp; Innovation: in this research,construct and validate a questionnaire social status of the Knowledge and Information have been with a comprehensive overview toward the social variables effective.  Findings: The results of factor analysis show the affect on the social status of 55 items, 42 items in total correlation which led to categorizing 9 factors were acceptable. Findings showed that 9 factors influence the social status of librarians; the intensity of the influence of factors from the highest  to the lowest are respectively as: economic factor, standard factor, expertise factor, personality factor, educational  factor, information technology factor, contact factor, cultural factor, and organizational factor. Results of internal consistency (Cranach’s alpha) showed that a questionnaire social status possessed suitable reliability coefficients.                                                                                                                                                       Conclusion:results of this research showed that questionnaire social status had satisfactory reliability and validity coefficients and is considered a suitable tool for measuring social status in future research.    </abstract>

			<abstract>Purpose: The research aimed to investigate the motivation of personnel of the state universities&#039; libraries of Isfahan based on Mcclelland three needs theory. Methods: The research method was descriptive survey study and aresearcher – made questionnairewasutilized. The population consisted of 164 personnel of the state universities&#039; libraries of Isfahan (managers, officials, librarians) including the University of Isfahan, Isfahan University of Medical Sciences, and Isfahan University of Technology. The validity of the questionnaire was measured in content and the reliability by using Cronbach&#039;s Alpha estimated at 0. 91.  Random stratified sampling method was used.  For analyzing the data SPSS18 and at descriptive statistics level  (mean and standard deviation) and at inferential statistics  (Single – sample – test) were used. Results:The research findings regarding to t-test  (SigConclusion: The motivation of personnel including motivation to succeed, motivation to power, and motivation to belonging, in the state universities&#039; libraries of Isfahan is in a good condition in personnel&#039;s view.</abstract>

			<abstract>Purpose: This study Targets the relationship between personality characteristics and job performance in the Shahid Chamran University and medical Science university of Jondishapoor of Ahwaz librarians. Methodology: The present study is a survey and descriptive one. To collect data Questionnaires from five major NEO-FFI personality and job performance Factors were used. The participants consisted of all the Shahid Chamran University librarians and medical Science university of Jondishapoor Librarians of Ahwaz in 2015. To analyze the data descriptive statistics such as mean, standard deviation and frequency analysis of t two independent groups, Pearson&#039;s correlation and stepwise regression were used. Findings: Findings revealed that there is a direct relationship between job performance and of conscience (r=0/58, P=0/01) and job performance, and extroversion (r=0/24, P=0/05). The results of t-test showed that there is no significant difference between these two universities librarians&#039; job performance. Also, based on regression analysis, moral and psychological Neuroticism variables were strong for casters of job performance that explained 40 percent of variance of it. Conclusion: Personality characteristics are strong variables in predicting job performance, this means that libraries have a good personality traits are expected to have better job performance.</abstract>
