Designing a paradigmatic model of contract regulation in Iran's professional football based on information in the context of block chain technology

Purpose: Blockchain technology, with its application potential, can facilitate the process of intelligentization because all blockchains use distributed databases. Blockchain technology or block chain is a chain information recording and storage system that operates in a distributed and decentralized manner. This means that the information in the blockchain is shared by a group of computers that are connected to each other, and no central authority or authority can control or change it. Blockchain technology is very important in regulating the contracts of professional football players in Iran. This technology can simplify operations; increase efficiency; Strengthen trust and promote partnership. Of course, to use blockchain technology in sports, there is a need to solve technical, legal and systematic challenges. In this regard, the aim of the current research is to identify the antecedents and consequences of contract regulation in Iran's professional football, focusing on blockchain technology.

Methods: The research method is qualitative and based on data theory. In the qualitative approach of this research, the tactic of hidden content analysis was used. In this research, in-depth interviews were conducted with experts in the field of sports management, sports law, brokers and lawyers active in the judicial bodies of the football federation and provincial boards, as well as computer and IT experts. The sampling method was non-random and purposeful. In the selection of the research samples, people who have experienced the subject of the research or had a direct relationship with it were used. Therefore, the life, work and scientific experience of the participating people and the complete satisfaction of the people from attending the interview and their ability to conduct the interview and recount the contents were the criteria for entering and selecting the samples in the research. The criterion for people leaving the research was the lack of sufficient desire to continue cooperating with the researcher and the insufficient and incomplete information received by the people participating in the research. The interviews were semi-structured and continued until saturation. That is, according to the conceptual or initial coding by the researcher, which was carried out continuously and immediately after the interview; The extraction of these initial codes or concepts continued until there were no new codes in the conducted interviews. Therefore, the selection of research samples was done based on the techniques of determining the sample size in qualitative research.

Validity, transferability, trustworthiness and verifiability criteria were used to determine validity and reliability. In order to check the reliability, the intra-subject agreement method of two coders was used. Two expert coders in the field of sports management and familiar with the coding method coded the interviews and the percentage of agreement between the two coders was 79%; Considering that this amount is above 60%, the reliability of the research was confirmed.

Findings: After analyzing the data obtained from interviews with research experts; The antecedents of contract regulation in Iran's professional football centering on blockchain technology have 4 main themes; Technical and infrastructure dimensions, legal and regulatory dimensions, managerial dimensions, cultural and social dimensions with 43 sub-themes were formed. The consequences of the regulation of the contract in Iran's professional football with the focus on blockchain technology are also 4 main themes; Increasing security, developing contract management, improving financial performance and reducing corruption formed 33 sub-themes.

Conclusion: The use of blockchain technology in regulating the contracts of professional football players in Iran has many advantages. This technology can increase security, develop contract management, improve financial performance and reduce corruption. But for the successful use of blockchain in sports, technical, legal and other challenges must be solved. It is suggested that relevant managers should contribute to the growth and development of Iran's professional football by taking into account the results of this research and benefiting from blockchain technology in setting contracts.
