Dimensions and Components of Managers' Psychological Empowerment to Establish Knowledge Management Based on Organizational Motivation in a Qualitative Method

Abstract

Implementing knowledge management in schools requires psychological empowerment of principals. In other words, for the establishment of knowledge management, given the importance it plays in the development and development of educational systems, the psychological empowerment of managers should be considered by educational system trustees and should not deviate from any efforts in this regard. The purpose of this study was to investigate the dimensions and components of managers' psychological empowerment in order to establish knowledge management based on organizational motivation. The method of qualitative research was content analysis. Research tools, scientific texts and documentation have been used. Information analysis, content analysis and coding have been open, axial, and selective. The related themes were categorized in the open coding stage of 48 concepts, in the axial coding stage of 14 subdivisions and in the selective coding stage of 5 main dimensions. Overall, the results showed that the main dimension of managers' psychological empowerment to deploy knowledge management based on organizational motivation are: job involvement, organizational independence, organizational trust, organizational learning, self-efficacy.
