Objectives: To determine the effect of sharing employees' information on social networks on the skills of staff members according to the role of moderating social networking capabilities.
Methodology: From the objective view, this research is an applied one and in terms of the method is a descriptive-survey research. The statistical population of this research was all managers, supervisors and experts of libraries of Islamic Azad University of Tehran. The sample size based on Cochran test was determined from 132 employees out of 200 employees. For data collecting, sharing employees' information on social networks questionnaires were used. Data analysis was done by using Path analysis by the SPSS 24 and Smart Plus software.at a significant level less than 0.05.
Findings: The findings showed that job performance with an average of (3.794) and knowledge sharing through social networks with an average of (3.785) was favorable and social networking capacity (3.399) was in a near-moderate situation. Analysis results showed that employee information sharing in social networks has a significant effect on employees' job performance. Also, the role of moderating social networking capabilities was also confirmed.
Conclusion: The results of this study indicate that social networks help employees to more easily and quickly share knowledge at the organization level and provide a way to achieve organizational goals. Therefore, specific and planned measures must be taken to upgrade and utilize social networking capabilities.
