Purpose: Widespread use of information technology in many organizations, management and leadership, has turned this phenomenon into an important issue. The application of information technology in "agility" helps to improve business operations. The purpose of this research is to investigate the mediating role of organizational agility in the relationship between information technology governance and knowledge productivity.

Method: The current research is applied in terms of purpose and descriptive-survey in terms of data collection. The statistical population of the research included all the employees of the General Department of Roads and Urban Development in the south of Sistan and Baluchestan province, numbering 632 people, and the statistical sample was determined as 240 people according to Cochran's formula. The data collection tool of this research is organizational agility questionnaire with indicators adapted from Sharifi and Zhang (2001), information technology governance from information technology governance questionnaire by Zhen et al. (2021) and knowledge productivity questionnaire developed by researcher and adapted They were among the components of Peter Drucker (1999). Cronbach's alpha was calculated for all variables above 0.7, which were in the acceptable range. The content validity of the questionnaires was confirmed by expert professors and then it was verified through confirmatory factor analysis.

Findings: After analyzing the data, the RMSEA fit index equal to 0.031 was obtained, which is smaller than the value of 0.05, so the structural model has a good fit. The research hypotheses were tested using path analysis in Lisrel software.

Conclusion: The results showed that information technology governance has a positive effect on organizational agility, and through agility, it will positively affect the knowledge productivity of employees in the organization. Therefore, it is suggested that organizations improve the productivity of organizational knowledge by improving the usefulness of information technology trends in organizations. In this research, the relationships between the hypotheses were evaluated positively. It is worth mentioning that the greatest impact is related to the fourth hypothesis with a value of 0.91, which indicates the relationship between technology governance and knowledge productivity through organizational agility.
