Objective: This study aimed to investigate the role of cultural intelligence is a function of Allameh Tabatabai University librarians.
Methodology / Approach: This study of the application, and the survey - conducted descriptive. The relationship between cultural intelligence and dimensions to the functioning of librarians using questionnaires, examined and studied community, is academic librarians Tabatabai (a total of 56 managers and librarians) .
Results: The findings show that there is a significant relationship between cultural intelligence and performance libraries. The calculated correlation between cultural intelligence and performance 0.63, 0.39 between cultural intelligence strategy and performance components, the components of cultural intelligence on performance 0.51, 0.49 between the components of cultural intelligence motivation and performance, 0.47 between the components of cultural intelligence and performance shows.
Conclusion: cultural intelligence librarians Allameh Tabatabai University, the components of cultural intelligence strategy, intelligence and elements of cultural knowledge, cultural intelligence motivation component, component behavior is cultural intelligence. Between cultural intelligence and all the components mentioned there is a significant relationship with the librarians at the alpha level of 0.05.
