Purpose: The purpose of this study is to investigate the relationship between social influence, productivity and performance amongst researchers in the field of knowledge management.
Methodology: This is a scientometric research that has used co-authorship and social network analysis techniques. The statistical population of the study consists of all articles in the field of knowledge management that have been indexed in Web of Science during 1900 to 2018 and includes 23258 records by 37,697 authors.
Results: According to the findings, "Chen Yi" with 139 articles, has the highest productivity and in terms of performance, "Gatzchak" with 2398 citations is in the first place. In terms of indicators of social influence, the results showed that "Wang Yi" has a higher stability and position than other authors in this field. The social network of researchers is coherent and consistent.
Conclusion: The study of the relationship between social influence (scores of centrality), performance (number of citations) and productivity (number of articles) showed that researchers who have a more central role in terms of co-authorship have also higher ranks in terms of research performance and productivity. That is, the higher the centrality score, the higher the productivity and performance.
