Purpose: In the last few years, we can witness the emergence of a large number of smart products and services, their commercial availability and their socio-economic impacts in the world. Because the use of artificial intelligence can increase the performance level of start-up businesses. Considering the role and impact of artificial intelligence in accelerating entrepreneurship and the development of start-up businesses, the aim of this research is to analyze the challenges and opportunities of artificial intelligence on the development of entrepreneurship and the growth of start-up businesses.
Method: This research is qualitative in terms of approach and applied-descriptive in terms of purpose, through in-depth semi-structured interviews, it has developed and validated a conceptual framework with thematic analysis method. The statistical population includes experts and experts and entrepreneurs in the field of start-up businesses, among whom 12 people were selected and participated in this study by purposeful sampling. The number of samples follows the rule of saturation. In order to ensure the validity of the research, the respondent method was used and it was tried to be a statistical sample of people who had the necessary knowledge and expertise in the field of research and also to minimize the intervention of researchers in the research and to calculate the reliability of the double coding method. has been used, which is equal to 79%. Considering that the reliability level is more than 60%, the reliability of the coding was confirmed and it can be claimed that the reliability level of the current interview analysis is appropriate. This article offers some ideas on how to adapt opportunities and practices to emerging AI technologies, including: protecting employee data, creating real data with data quality and volume, institutionalizing the right training phase for learning, identifying and modifying patterns, Preventing the input of biased data.
Findings: In the current research, with a new look at the role of artificial intelligence in the growth of entrepreneurship and the development of start-up businesses, its most important roles were discussed in relation to the development of entrepreneurship and start-up businesses. Paying attention to the results of the interviews conducted with experts and activists, the role of artificial intelligence can be classified into two themes of opportunities and challenges and ten organizing themes for the promotion of entrepreneurship and business development. Start-up works, convergence of technology with the goals of entrepreneurs, global customer orientation, job value creation, resilience of start-up businesses were identified and the challenges were identified in the form of five organizing themes, including the talent gap, privacy and security of entrepreneurs, continuous maintenance, lack of integrated capabilities. Construction and fixed and limited applications are categorized. Finally, based on the analysis of qualitative data, a paradigm model of the role of artificial intelligence in the development of entrepreneurship and start-up businesses was presented.
Conclusion: The world moves faster with new technologies and it is easy for organizations to take wrong steps. It is recommended to exercise caution when deploying artificial intelligence services. Appropriate insight is required for effective and efficient management of artificial intelligence systems. Today, organizations are facing changing economic, technical, social, cultural, and political conditions, and their survival in such competitive and very complex conditions depends on their intelligence and timely and appropriate response to these changes in the field of business and Startups, artificial intelligence systems are designed to solve these problems and can perform tasks well. However, they have limited capabilities. The final model of this research can be useful in the implementation and operationalization of artificial intelligence. This study minimized selection bias by having two independent reviewers responsible for study selection and data extraction, with very high agreement in both processes. Considering the opportunities that this study opens up, it will open an interesting line of research based on an in-depth investigation by conducting systematic or more targeted experimental studies.
